The Sales by Menu Item command allows you to generate a report showing the number of menu items sold in a specified time period for functions associated with group bookings, by either POS type or time period (Note: Time Period may NOT match POS Type. Time Period is based on the actual date/time and POS Type is based on system date). The results shown may be filtered by several categories including Group Status, POS Type, Pick Category, Sales Manager, Catering Manager and Conference Services Manager to give you detailed information on which of your menu items were sold, the count of menu items sold and their associated price, allowing you to see exactly what has been sold and for how much, and to therefore make purchasing adjustments based on your supply and demand of menu items.
The Sales by Menu Item command can be found in the Reports section of the Sales and Catering Area of Skyware.
